Summary:

In recent years, researchers and technicians in the field of Perception and Operation of Smart Transportation have made significant innovations, both in theoretical methods and engineering practices. With the background of artificial intelligence, theories of information fusion and methods of data-driven operation for transportation have continuously developed. Simultaneously, many technological projects in this domain have been funded by government like the Ministry of Transport and the National Natural Science Foundation, resulting in a collection of innovative achievements, and leading the technological frontier.

To timely summarize the developments, experiences, and recent advances in theoretical methods and engineering technology practices in the field of Smart Transportation, we initiated the "Smart Transportation Collaborative Perception and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance" session. The aim is to comprehensively analyze the development and achievements on frontier research in the field of collaborative perception and intelligent operation, while forecasting future trends and major directions of smart transportation. This session covers various domains, such as Collaborative perception of vehicle-road information, Fusion of data from multiple sources, Management of traffic conflicts, Path optimization of vehicles, Intelligent detection of diseases in transportation infrastructure, Date-driven evaluation of transportation infrastructure performance, Scientific decision-making in infrastructure management and maintenance. This session is expected to promote the research and application of collaborative perception and intelligent operation technologies in the field of smart transportation. Further, scholars and engineers can facilitate the translation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and further promote the construction of transportation in China.

It is of great significance to improve the operation efficiency of traffic system. This session welcomes all related academic papers focus on the future urban intelligent traffic management, transportation travel services, transportation optimization, intelligent operation and service optimization of integrated transportation hubs and welcomes the researchers to participate in the conference communication.
